Ad Hoc workshops take on a number of forms throughout the year. Our team of skilled professionals from Vancouver and Vancouver Island have held workshops in mask making, puppetry, auditioning, introductory acting, acting for film, musical theatre, speech and voice for the actor and a ream of other topics. Ad Hoc Workshop teachers have included Trudy Pauluth-Penner, Nicole Natrass, David Snider, Craig March, Craig Erikson, Lucia Frangione, Erin Ormond, Jeany VanMeltebeke, Mark DuMez and many other working professional artists. We have provided workshops for all kinds of groups and age levels - from an international troupe of Girl Guides to University students from Alberta to students at Crofton elementary.
Ad Hoc Workshops happen in two ways:
- An interested group or teacher requests a workshop in acting, auditioning, technical theatre, or a subject of their choice. We then work to find a suitable date, time, and instructor - and give a price quote for the event.
- An interested workshop leader may suggest a workshop or activity. We then set the price per participant, notify our network of educators and home school students of the upcoming event and post the workshop on our website.
