The Gallery features two exhibition areas to promote BC artists. The Gallery space on the gift shop level, is 1,250 square feet; and the Upper Lobby Gallery at 220 square feet.

The Chemainus Theatre attracts 80,000 patrons a year, and the town of Chemainus boasts up to 400,000 visitors each year.

We generally require 16 originals, please refer to web for images of venue. Each exhibition is approximately six weeks long and there are two featured artists per show.

Chemainus Theatre Festival hosts a wine and cheese reception for the artists and provides a web-link to advertise each exhibit.

The Gallery charges a 40% commission.

Our mandate:
To provide a venue for BC artists and artisans to exhibit their work.

Applicants are requested to provide the following:

• A current CV
• 6 to 12 photographs; or cd (jpeg or tiff only) of your most recent work.
• A list of titles, size, medium and expected retail price.
• An artist's statement outlining your proposal.
• A stamped addressed envelope for the return of your proposal.
