With a growing patron base over the last 16 very successful years, the Chemainus Theatre Festival has quickly become Vancouver Island's number one Theatre Destination.

16 years ago 14,000 people enjoyed our productions. We now attract over 82,000 patrons from Vancouver Island, and beyond.

With rising success, comes an even greater annual operating expense. With your help, we can maintain the professional live theatre our patrons and community have come to expect.

With over 150 artists & staff, numerous capitol projects and increasing production costs, our 2009 annual expenses will exceed 4.2 million dollars.

Ticket Sales, Dining Room and Gift Store generate a healthy portion of the revenue needed to meet our annual expenses; however, they do not meet the entire operating budget. Like most not-for-profit societies Chemainus Theatre depends on the generosity of individuals and businesses who partner with us as Sponsors.

Sponsorship Benefits & Marketing Exposure

Season Brochure:
Your logo will appear in the season brochure attached to your sponsored production (50,000 season brochures printed). Brochures are mailed out directly to 15,000 households. An additional 30,000+ brochures are distributed across Vancouver Island to Chambers, Local Businesses and Info Centers.

Program Advertising:
Your company's advertisement will appear in the title page in the program of the production you sponsor acknowledging you as the Production Sponsor.

Program Acknowledgment:
Your name or logo also appears on the corporate sponsor page of all main stage programs. Over 80,000 patrons will see the programs throughout the year.

Print Material:
The Chemainus Theatre festival mails postcards and newsletters for each show: We will recognize your company as the Production Sponsor on all print material related to your production. Your corporate name or logo will also be attached to all print material related to your production.

Posters:
Your logo will appear on all posters printed for your production. (500 full color posters distributed)

Lobby Banners & Display:
We will provide a display in the main lobby acknowledging your company as the Production Sponsor for the length of your Production. You have the option of providing promotional materials and a banner as well

Shout Out From the Stage:
Your company will be acknowledged from the stage during the pre-show announcement for each matinee and evening performance as our Production Sponsor for the duration of your show.

Your Logo in Lights:
2009 will be the first year that we will project our production sponsors Corporate logos on the side walls of the theatre during the pre-show as our patrons are settling in for the production.

Direct Web Link:
Your logo will appear on the show page you are sponsoring, a rotating banner on each page as well as on the corporate sponsors' page which will include your web link.

Tickets:
Depending on your level of sponsorship, your company will receive 10-20 Dinner & Theatre tickets for sponsor night. On this evening, enjoy a terrific evening of dining and theatre and we get a chance to recognize you and your staff/clients as our production sponsor. As well you will receive an additional 10-20 theatre tickets for the production you are sponsoring.
