How do we create the magic that is the Chemainus Theatre Festival?
The answer is simple - great scripts and great people. Each season, it takes over 200 actors, directors, designers, stagehands, staff and volunteers to bring you the theatre experience you have come to expect. We scour the country looking for the right talent and the world looking for the right script. It's magic when it comes together but it's nothing without you. It's alive when you take your seat, the lights dim and the performance begins. But to get to that magic moment we also need you. We pride ourselves in being one of the hardest working theatres in the country earning almost all our revenue at the box office and in the dining room and gift shop but every year it gets harder to balance the budget and deliver you the experience you deserve.
