A great friend of the Chemainus Theatre (a not-for-profit charitable organization), Cavendish is generously gifting her performances to the society as a contribution to their ongoing fundraising efforts. She recently directed the 2008 CTF production of Having Hope at Home.

In her thirty year career, Cavendish has performed in theatre companies across the country including: Vancouver Playhouse, the Arts Club, Shaw Festival, and The Belfry.
